Artable, the Railways buffs, were lucky this time around. We locasted a live specimen of this brake van in a junck yard.
Our team then started a research journery. Viisting, measuring, drawing, repaeting. It To be accurate it took us 5 trips to the yard to record the features.
And what came out and is presented here is a 95 + % accurate scale model of the brake van.
The drawings were intricately developed into a prototype made and painted in low-luster red oxide paint (the paint the cargo trains were actucally painted in). This model table includes detailed elements like solid wood rails, wheels, brakes, leaf springs, couplers, marker lamps and buffers, making it a perfect piece-of-art eddition.
